If you have a problem with drug use or feel that you cannot stop using them, remember that we have all felt this way.
We have tried many times to stop using drugs on our own and all those attempts failed, but when we decided to give up and ask for help from our colleagues in Narcotics Anonymous, we found hope and our abstinence became a reality. We discovered that we do not need to resist alone, as there are those who support us and tell us what to do when we feel that we strongly want to use.
"This seems like a big deal and we can't do it all at once. We didn't become addicts in a day, so remember to take things easy."
Dear new member, welcome Narcotics Anonymous (the fellowship of narcotics anonymous).
We are a group of recovering addicts and we meet regularly to help each other to continue abstaining.
It doesn't matter what type of drug you were taking and it doesn't matter what you did in the past.
Every addict and any addict is eligible for membership in Narcotics Anonymous.
The only membership requirement is a willingness to abstain.
We suggest, as we were suggested, that you attend 90 meetings in 90 days, choose a mentor, and start working on the twelve steps.
When we decide to join, we get rid of the drugs we have and get rid of our drug-using buddies.
Although we hold our meetings in different facilities, we are independent.
Meetings are available daily in different locations and at different times. See the Saudi Arabia Meetings page and search for your city and you will find meeting information.
Our recovery is based on applying the program day by day only.
You can also read the Welcome to Narcotics Anonymous handbook and the New Member handbook.
There is also a diverse collection of books on the literature page.
